Connecting Communities Today

Gwinnett County is my home, where my law practice is based and is a small but powerful area of CD4 because of it's diversity and economic growth. I plan to connect some of that diversity and economic growth with all of the counties within Congressional District 4 so we can learn from what works and what does not for our District.

DeKalb County is the main connector of CD4 and is in the most need for improved economic development because of it's population of low income residents. The poor infrastructure is one of the problems with economic growth and we need improved housing and educational resources for our teachers and students with special needs.

Rockdale County has the best opportunity for small business growth and is a major focus of economic development and housing. As the inner city continues to grow more young families are looking to areas like Rockdale county. Connecting the residents to the same resources that are available in the inner city is vital to growing District 4.

Newton County is home to several of the biggest industries in film and entertainment and automobile manufacturing but is disconnected from it's neighboring counties that could provide skilled labor through more federal programs. I plan to connect CD4 residents by creating jobs using this increased potential for Newton County to have a path to a global market.
